My credit card was rejected

Our payment processors WorldPay and PayPal accept most credit cards globally but some common credit card information entry errors might trip the security system. These security restrictions were designed to prevent the unauthorized usage of your card but legitimate users may encounter an error if they accidentally make a mistake. Here are a few common mistakes to look out for:

  1. The billing address has to be the same as the records at your card issuer/bank.

  2. Card holders name and country should match the records at your card issuer/bank

  3. The 3 digit security code is the last 3 digits on the signature strip at the back of your card. Or in the case of an American Express card, it is the 4 digit code on the front of your card.

  4. Format of expiry date. For example 08/06 vs 06/08.

  5. Type of credit card selected. For example Visa vs Mastercard.

  6. Only digits should be entered in the credit card number field. (No spaces, dashes or any other characters)
